FAQs - Previous Applicants

No. We know there are a lot of groups who are applying for a second time – or more. If that’s the case you can still email your adviser from last year.

But we would encourage you to formally apply for this programme. If you are successful you will receive much more intensive help. If not, you will get very clear feedback on where your application and team need development, which should help you when applying to the DfE.

If you’ve been on our Development Programme before your experience will be very similar – although even more intensive.

If you haven’t been on our Development Programme, the big difference is that we will ask you to make a formal application to receive most of our support.

Our support is very personalised and tailored – so for example you might not need any support in completing your curriculum plans, but would like some advice on gathering demand. Or you might just want help interpreting the DfE application form. If you are on our Development Programme your adviser will talk to you about what you need so you don’t end up wasting time which we know is in short supply.
